Security Manager, Operations

To support the overall planning, implementation, monitoring, and control of aviation security operations at KUL. The role ensures full compliance with CAAM and other regulatory requirements, maintains security standards, safeguards company assets and supports smooth daily security operations within defined operational and regulatory frameworks.

• Accountable for planning, implementing, monitoring and controlling aviation security operations at KUL.
• Ensure compliance with CAAM, FOCA and other regulatory/security requirements.
• Maintain high security standards through effective deployment and monitoring of staff performance and discipline.
• Safeguard company assets and ensure smooth daily security operations.
• Support the implementation and monitor security improvements across KUL and other operational business units.
• Establish and maintain liaison and coordination with stakeholder from internal and external parties (Government agencies, FOCA Rep etc.)

• Diploma/Degree.
• Bachelor’s Degree in any related field, with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant working experience. Advanced certifications will be an advantage.
• Diploma holders in a related field must have a minimum of 5 years’ relevant working experience
• SPM holders must have a minimum of 7 years’ relevant working experience in aviation security or a related field, with proven leadership in managing security teams and initiatives

Experienced in Aviation security operations with a focus in aircraft, passenger and cargo security, with proven leadership in managing security teams and initiatives to ensure compliance and resilience.

• Strong leadership and management skills.
• In-depth understanding of security protocols, risk assessment and manpower management and deployment.
• Excellent analytical, communication and report writing skills
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions
